When you’re choosing a new dentist, it can be an uncertain process with many questions.
There are hundreds of dentists in Central Ohio, with varying specialized training, experience, and procedural offerings. We’d like to help provide some clarity about our practice.
Is my insurance accepted (in-network) at Dr. Lordo’s practice?
We are a Participating Provider for:

Do you accept patients who do not have dental insurance?
Yes. If you are worried about affording your care without insurance, contact our office. We’re happy to address any questions or concerns. In many cases, we can provide financing options or payment plans. We also offer a Smile Club Program for patients without insurance.
What if I have questions about my insurance?
We can help! Just call us at (614) 885-4754. If you have questions, we will get you the information you need.
Do I have to submit my claims to the insurance company?
No, we make it easy for you. We’ll happily submit the initial claim to your insurance provider. Of course, you’ll be responsible for any fees that your plan doesn’t cover.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept cash, checks, major credit cards, in house payment plans for patients of record, and Care Credit. If you have questions about your payment method, please contact our office at (614) 885-4754.
Do you offer financing or a payment plan for dental work?
Yes. You can apply to CareCredit. Our staff is familiar with the application process and can answer questions you might have.
How can I find out how much a procedure will cost me after my insurance pays their part?
Our team is happy to determine coverage for you. When we recommend a treatment plan, we want you to know what to expect.
Do you offer sedation?
Yes, local anesthetic, nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, or even full sedation with an anesthesiologist are always optional.
Do you place white fillings?
Yes, Dr. Lordo has not placed a silver filling in over 30 years.
Questions About Appointment Times and Services
Does your office offer kid-friendly appointments?
Yes. In fact, our team loves seeing children! Our hygienists are trained to help children (and parents) feel comfortable during the appointment. We take an educational approach to help children develop healthy habits that create a foundation for oral health.
What should I do if I need to reschedule an appointment?
We kindly request 48 (business) hours of notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. It helps us manage a schedule that serves many people.
