"Lock me up! …if it helps cure Muscular Dystrophy!"
We have partnered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) located here in Worthington, Ohio for several initiatives.  In the summer of 2009, Dr. Lordo was the number one jail bail raiser in the Worthington MDA Lock Up fundraiser.
This year, we are donating $10 to the MDA for every new patient we see. Our goal is to raise $2,000!
Extreme Dental Makeover
We recently worked with 97.9 WNCI radio station’s Morning Zoo on an extreme dental makeover for a listener who won a bad breath competition. What started out as a funny contest has radically changed this young man’s life. We were proud to have made such an impact on his outlook and appearance.
Cultivating Community Leadership
Leadership Worthington will always have a special place in the heart of our practice. We are proud sponsors of Leadership Worthington in many ways. Dr. Lordo’s graduating class of 2008 honored him with their vote to have him participate on the Board of Trustees.
Supporting Small Businesses
 We have been proud members of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce for over three years. Dr. Lordo also serves on the Worthington Chamber's Board of Trustees.
Sharing Knowledge at The Ohio State University
Dr. Lordo was a part time clinical instructor at The Ohio State University Nisonger Dental Center for over thirteen years. At the center, Dr. Lordo instructs undergraduate general dental students, graduate residents and dental hygiene students in the art of providing dental care for people with multiple handicaps and developmental challenges. Dr. Lordo also works with the Dental Anesthesiology Department to provide sedation dental care to people with special needs. Dr. Lordo will tell you that this is one of the most satisfying aspects of his profession. |
